All Hilton Sydney guest room phones feature state-of-the-art IP technology, providing Guests with instant access to additional services such as weather reports, news and stock market data. The MAGIC button connects Guests instantly to our 24-hour communications centre, designed to manage all requests and enquiries.
Calls within the Hotel:
To make a room-to-room call in Hilton Sydney, simply dial the four-digit room number.
Outside calls (National):
Dial 0 to access an outside line. Listen for the continuous tone. Dial the state’s area code and the required number.
Outside calls (in Sydney):
Dial 0 to access an outside line. Listen for the continuous tone and dial the required number.
Outside calls (International):
Dial 0 to access an outside line and listen for the continuous tone. Dial 0011 for international calls, followed by the country code. Dial the area code if applicable, followed by your required number.
All guest room phones offer a voicemail service, allowing callers to leave a voice message.
A flashing light on the phone will indicate that Guests have a message, which can be retrieved by pressing the MESSAGE button.
Guests who wish to send a fax can contact the Concierge to send your message on your behalf.
All guest rooms have complimentary Hilton Sydney hotel stationery for Guests to use, and all fax messages received will be immediately forwarded to Guests’ rooms. Fees may apply.
All guest rooms are equipped with a dial-up point to allow Guests to connect their laptops to Wi-Fi. The dial-up point is located next to the guest room telephone. If you require a dial-up cable, please press MAGIC.
Wi-Fi is available throughout Hilton Sydney. To access complimentary Wi-Fi in the lobby,
kindly approach the Concierge for the access code. To connect anywhere else in the hotel, select the “hhonors” wireless network option using your laptop’s Wireless Network Connection Manager.
1. Launch your internet browser such as Safari or Internet Explorer, and a pricing page should appear.
2. Select either the hourly or 24-hour option.
3. Select “Bill to my room”*.
4. Enter the username and password. Kindly note that your username is the surname of the
reservation booking, and your password is the 4-digit room number.
Guests are allowed to connect up to four devices without incurring any extra charge. Should you have any connection issues, please press MAGIC for assistance.
Please note that Guests who are Gold or Diamond HHonors members are still required to follow
the “Bill to my room” process, and will receive a rebate for the internet
charge upon Check-Out.
